Today at work I started catching up with the bits and pieces I'd missed over the Christmas season.

Nothing to report out of the ordinary but I did spend 20 minutes looking for a file in response to an e-mail I received. After eventually locating it I "happily" discovered that I'd already responded to the person making the query before Christmas. It was on the file but as our read e-mails auto-delete after 30 days I had to check the file to be sure. Of course when I telephoned the individual and revealed this fact to the person concerned they informed me that they have "loads of unread messages" that they never have the time to get to.

God forbid that someone would have the common sense, once they send an e-mail request, to read the response from the person they e-mailed.

At least I got new comic books at lunch. Jack of Fables was in. Yay!

Also, I have put up a soft, easy to peel/remove whiteboard in the flat. A magnetic one would have been the ideal but this one will do quite nicely I reckon.
