So managed to fix up the flat today for the most part. little things like coat hooks and door stops were the order of the day.
Let me tell you, it's a pain in the arse to try and glue shut a crack in a table caused by an overheating laptop. It's a seemingly messy and pointless operation. after all the work I'm still dubious as to whether or not the gap in the table was better or worse before we began the mending. :(
Gave new flatmate the keys, had tea and roast beef sandwiches and then hit the pub. It was a decent evening. Santa Claus beer always helps you on your way.
Tomorrow I return to the flat and attempt to fix up the new telly. Normal service at work recommences on Monday.
