Some people's priorities are just not right.....
I mean c'mon, I hosted a glitter party and only 3 people came other than Eric and Cameron! I would have thought women would be all over such an event! I mean really, how many times in your life can you say you got to sprinkle large amounts of glitter on things? Multiple colors?!
I also am feeling rather superior to artistic people right now....since myself, as a non-artistic person, was able to get other non-artistic people to come over and we were all painting skulls in the basement. I also was able to push Cameron, the artistic one, to paint as well. Day of the Dead Skulls are mostly geometric and free-form designs, so as long as you can mix paint and dip it into paint and make designs, you're good. I will have all the skulls given to me done by tomorrow....painted, glittered (both sides) and ready to move. Eric really stretched himself as well to at least paint lines that Cameron drew and color things in. You have to know, when you paint one side of a skull, that has to dry before you can paint the other side. Plus some stuff had to dry before other stuff was painted, so this has been taking days to do it all. Eric has to get some pictures of the clothing rack full of skulls! It's like you can't put shit off until the 4th of November when they're needed totally done by the 5th!
Organization! The head organizer is also almost in meltdown with all the shit that needs done. But I'm good.
BTW....anybody nearby who could help when we have to move Cameron would be greatly appreciated. We are doing things in shifts when we get the go-ahead, which will be around the middle of this month. But he's got to get stuff packed and then getting things up his stairs will not be easy at the new place. We may re-assess what stays or goes based on those stairs.
