Busy...
Been pretty busy lately, haven't posted in a while. Was sick all last week with whatever that thing was going around. Probably picked it up in Atlantic City.
Otherwise, what's keeping me busy? well, at least the next couple of weeks look like this...
Paper due 10/30 (done!), research paper due 11/4 (research done, writing currently in process), anthro midtern 11/5 (Study? who has time, at least it's anthro and a class I could have taught...), term paper topic and biblio due 11/12 (mostly done), project due 11/13, paper due 11/20, research (I am conducting an interview with an exhibit designer for another paper) 11/24, Thanksgiving trip to visit relatives in Florida 11/27 - 12/1, Interview paper due 12/9, Term paper due 12/17, Then there's keeping up with the readings, cohosting the singing halloween party this friday(baking day, thursday), going to the day of the dead party on saturday(Um, do I have time to bake something?), another halloween party and a birthday party the following saturday (I still don't know if we will make it to one or both or neither of these parties yet). And a possible archaeology job on the horizon if I can find the time to update my resume and write the letter. I have a referral from my anthro prof. to an archaeology lab looking for people with archaeo experience, maybe later I'll post more details. And a possible volunteer position on my Prof's dig starting the second week of November, it'll be a short time in the field because its getting cold and the ground will be freezing soon, but I don't care, I wear gloves digging anyway and I would love to get out in the field again. And then there is the two full-size crochet afgans I want to make before Christmas... At least they are started, one is actually half finished. And the baby afgan before April...
Tell me again why I'm a full-time student at my age! Oh yeah, now I remember, when everyone else was a student, I was having a life, now they get to have a life and I get to be the student. I get it!
