I don't know...normally I don't make such a big deal about being sick. [schlepped army jeep parts when I was sick. worked cafe when I was sick. we all did. illness is just a fact of life.] last night was pretty bad though. my lymph nodes were so swollen that I looked like Bruce Banner mid-transformation (minus the green, the throbbing veins, and the rippling muscles), and I was so completely out of it. (it was terrible.)
I guess I'm just disappointed by my own fallibility. (and my crappy immune system.) I haven't been sick in a while, and was hoping to pull a superwoman act together this semester. tackle a full course load, manage a job, that sort of thing. so to get a bad case of the flu the second week of my second semester back (in what I hope is my FINAL attempt at completing my education) really fucking sucks. cripples the ol' morale, at any rate. honestly, I just want to get this over with as soon as possible and get the hell back to New York or New Mexico.
I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE.
I miss you guys. I miss the city. take Dustin out for cake or hot cocoa for me, 'cause damn do I miss those things, too.
ps--would you consider adopting another young fixer-upper, or are you tired of these people projects? ['cause boy, do I have someone outta Jersey for you. (he loves Asian horror, if that helps.)]
