Mike is in fine form in this one - five minutes in and he acted like an idiot when faced with one of his test cheating clients, lost track of someone facing jail time when they started to cry, committed a felony by impersonating a DOJ lawyer, and did a great job of ruining it when they find Gabby going through the recycling. And he just did it again!
Loved Harvey roasting Sam at Morello Assets and then making fun of Mike's Stallone impression all while eating a street hot dog. Of course Mike manages to screw up getting the trades by ignoring Harvey's parting advice to remember he was working, get drunk and show up at his boss's apartment at oh dark o'clock. We did get to see casual Harvey and Macht was rocking that Henley!
If I'm not mistaken this was a Donna-less episode other than Harvey's (sarcastic) remark to remind her to give Mike a key. *sniff*
Nope I don't think Donna was in this one. However, in my mind she is the only other person who has the spare key to Harvey's apartment. Also, I did laugh at Mike's method of getting the trades from the guys at the bar.
I laughed too until I thought just how some of the bosses I have had would have reacted to getting drunk while on firm business or even worse being drunk in front of them. I sometimes feel like the writers go a bit overboard in portraying Mike as the office newbie who pulls the stupidest stunts imaginable with no consequences. The closest consequences Mike ever gets is Harvey using him last season to disclose Daniel's affair. I guess Harvey finds Mike careening from misstep to misstep amusing as long as he gets the results he needs.
Oh she totally has the only other key (well other than building management/ the super which is a public safety requirement in NYC high rises) as I get the feeling from how Harvey reacted to Jessica's morning visit that he's really not into casual drop-ins and wants his home to be his castle.
