being a fangirl is contagious
I was looking for a song to listen to last night and out of nowhere, konayuki came to my mind. through listening to it, i remember how i became a fangirl/ how i found JE. So here's my fangirl history:
*1 litre of tears aired on a local tv channel on may 2009. (the first and only drama i watched from the start till the end. yes, without missing a single episode)
*i guess its not that hard to figure out what happened next.. well, ryo caught my attention but unlike others, it was not love at first sight. actually i got more curious about him when he sang on 1lot and did some research about him when the drama was about to end.
*konayuki is an awesome song that is always played during awesome scenes of the lead actress and the awesome actor. actually, this song made me listen to japanese songs plus the fact that i found out that the awesome actor is also a singer. how awesome!
*then, i shared my newfound addiction to my friend riko_narumi who is already a fangirl and she infected me with the virus she has.
*okay, so it started with ryo and through him i found news (ignored kanjani8 at first), followed by kat-tun, discovered some arashi songs, then kanjani8 took the spotlight and my list of JE groups continued.
oh, i just realized that 2010 was my first full year of being a fangirl. for the whole year, i listened to nothing but japanese songs (mostly JE's), watched dramas and movies, i became more interested on japanese culture, in general. so i hereby declare myself as a full-time fangirl (please excuse me for that lame title) as of 2010.
if i have to choose one word to describe or associate to "fangirl", that would be "contagious". being a fangirl is like having a virus. once you have it, its not easy to get it out of your system and you might actually pass it to another person. haha.. that's why i mentioned earlier that my friend infected me with her virus. as for me, my sister is my victim. let's see how long this virus last..
