(no subject)
What a day this is shaping up to be some day. My brother (not brothers) is coming down to help load up the truck. All the heavy stuff, like furniture and some 450 pounds of strategy guide collections, along with books and DVDs and beds. Bah!! I hate packing up the guides. I wish I could take a picture of them, but I'll have more time and better arangement in the new place.
Furthermore! I found my DS Lite, which was in a bag kicked under the sofa. I first noticed it was missing when I bought Portrait of Ruin and took it home and was all like "..." which is never a good thing. I thought back and forth on where I last had it. "Did I leave it in Orlando on the last trip? Did I lend it to my brother- no, he has one. Will I have to buy a new one? Did the cat pawn it?" And then today I find it. Cool beans, huh?
Lastly!! It's a day off for me, and Zelda is coming out. My store took 50-something preorders and is getting roughly half sent to the store. I sure as hell am picking up my copy, paid in full months ago. Many months. I had it preordered months before I even started working at that EB, back in early 2005. Back when the pre-ordering limitations were nonexistant. It'll be an ugly day, lots of pissed-off customers canceling preorders and picking up a copy at the Wal-mart. Oh wells.
Finally? I downloaded Frisky Dingo episodes 8 and 9 off the Xbox Live Marketplace. It's pretty expensive, some $2 for 11 minutes of PURE GENIUS COMEDY. But that's really about the same as buying two songs online. And it's reall funny stuff. Every 160 points I throw at FD is $2 more they raised to pay for the cost of production. And they get $2 closer to getting a season 2 in production. I'll force my brother (not brothers) to watch it. I'm pretty sure the new place doesn't have cable. I'll be sure to ask sometime today.
El post scripto! I need more boxes for the guides. They are like $11 for 10, but totally worth it.
