Pain leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering...

Nowhere have I seen this become more of a self fulfilling prophecy than in myself.  For much of the two weeks preceding this one (long enough even, to prevent me from making an effective post) I was dealing with an entirely new order of pain than the usual ones to which I am accustomed from my body.  Apparently, one of the new side effects of my body maintenance routines is to prevent the discs in my back from slipping out completely, however, that does not preclude them from getting slightly stuck in their stolid attempts to escape their preordained confinement.  Not entirely sure if everyone here remembers, but on my way to the weapons seminar in Seattle last year, my stay in the South side Chicago hotel precipitated a well defined slippage of the discs, which in turn forced me to train for two days straight in some sever pain, and walk ramrod straight, not to mention seek the solace of the bamboo floor in futility thinking that might help to slip them back in.  I found out from an orthopedist shortly afterwards that hanging for a few seconds each day from a door frame helps to create a space to make sure they realign.  Starting that self treatment has prevented much of the aforementioned discomfort.  Until about 3 weeks ago, when I could tell that they were make a break for it once more.  I can usually tell because there's a limitation of movement in one torsional direction, and this time I am now experiencing a sort of axis of numbness in one leg - my absolute least favorite sensation to date.  The TENS unit doesn't do anything to rectify the situation, and only after a good deal of stretching/suspension does the pain subside.  This week has been thankfully pain free.  Tonight I plan to watch the return of the Miniature Killer on CSI, use the new cycling gear I bought from Primal Wear, and ride ride ride.  Tomorrow is one of the fabled 24 hr Fridays, and you can all find me at the bar, guarding the door.  Oh, and received this amusing tidbit from li'l sis earlier today, which prompted me into bloggishness, cuz I've been slacking a bit.

Also, I've been considering a career change recently.  I'm just tired of having to get up and go into the office at stupid o'clock every morning.  Maybe Foreign Correspondent or something else incredibly interesting that includes an assload of travel and free hotels in exotic locations.  All's I know is I'm simply tired of going to 'work'.  Gods do I need to finish the last three chapters of Alisuru.  At least I managed to get the sex scene started!

Fetish Zone party this weekend out in Wrong Island.  Dunno if any of the rest of you are planning on going, but get in touch and maybe we can carpool.
