Insomnia is fun . . . .
Since I like many others is caught up in Matrix Fever, I decided to watch the first one on DVD. Sometime while watching combined with thinking about the various thoughts shared on LJ I think my Matrix theory for now is . . . .
The HUMANS ACTUALLY WON THE WAR AGAINST THE MACHINES. The Matrix is actually controlled by a select group of humans. To use some Nation of Islam terminology. This select group would be lthe 10% who are trying to hide the truth. The people of Zion would be like the 5 Percenters who know and teach the truth. and the 85% left are the ignorant masses
I may need to watch Reloaded a few more times to flesh it out. It is actually building off an idea suggested by
efyiu in various other LJ's of there being a higher power. Perhaps the Architect and the Oracle are actually programmers of the matrix who are also plugged in. They created Matrix at the end of the war figuring, they can use the technology of the machines to keep them alive, and the rest of the technology to create a simulated world that as far as everyone else is concerned is just as real as the other one. now that I think about maybe this occured when the first MAtrix was detroyed. That may have been the one created strictly by the Machines AI. The randomness of the human thought process was created a more realistic Matrix. The Oracle may be a 10 percenter who has seen the light and is trying to help those in search of the truth. ANyway, it is still incomplete, if I still feel inspired in the morning I'll add to it and bring it together some more. . . . .
