Pan's Labyrinth
Miracle of miracles, here in Utah this movie is now playing in quite a lot of local theaters. I was hoping it would at least show up in one of the arty theaters, and it did, but then it moved into the standard array of mainstream theaters.
I can't say much about this movie - I don't have the writing skills. I will say that this is one of the very few faery-tale movies that actually got it right.
This was the first movie, in a very long time, that I really wanted to go see in the theater. It's a wonderful thing when I'm not disappointed.
I'm looking forward to the DVD release in May.
