After a week
It's been more than a week since I left the hospital and I think I've made a lot of progress. During the last week, I've gone out to dinner twice wearing no makeup at all! And survived! Those were "firsts". However yesterday I was able to put some makeup on and take Mary and my brother Dan to his favorite restaurant for dinner. Dan arrived yesterday from Hawaii. He lived in Corpus for a few years about 10 years ago so it will be fun showing him all the changes.
The EMT's who rescued me stopped by this week with a plant. Good-looking, strong, fit young men. I am so grateful for their expertise and competence.
It has been wonderful to hear from so many of my friends and to see a few. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
