I'm working out the travel route from here to Seattle/Portland... and I seem to have hit a bit of a snag. Right now, My destination includes the points, in exact order:
Erie, PA
Cleveland, OH
Columbus, OH
Indianapolis, IN
Ludington, MI (Ferry point)
Manitowoc, WI (Ferry point)
Chicago, IL
Saint Louis, MO
Austin, MN
Kansas City, MO
Lincoln, NE
Devils Lake, ND... and that's where it starts getting a bit tricky. There are other points I want to go, including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I also want to visit some of New Mexico, Arizona and California. If I go through California, I can justify going to Yosemite. There's also Joshua Tree National Park in So.Cal which would be neat to visit. And, of course, going through Arizona means being able to go to the Grand Canyon. There are so many places I can go, but it might require cutting places out to fit other places in. Of course, if I go through Texas, I can manage New Mexico and Arizona. But, I could go along the south and go through Louisiana and some of the other major southern states. I just don't know. This is why indecisive people shouldn't plan trips. By the time I'm done, I'll probably end up going through most of the lower 48.
