30 days Yaoi challenge - Day 9
Day 9 - Favorite uke.
It's a toss up between Uzuki from Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko and Shima from Doushitemo Furetakunai.
I think they're both adorable in different ways, obviously because one is from a lighthearted (mostly) and funny story while the other is from an angsty and serious manga. In DF, Shima is already jaded and guarded while in Usagi Otoko, Uzuki is wonderfully naive and innocent. It's no wonder their semes are in love with these two.
On an unrelated note, I just got out of a date set up by no less than my mother. It seems that she is hinting heavily that I start looking for a man and move out of the house. The other week, while we were out, she had started this thing of pointing out men and asking me which I thought were handsome. A few nights ago, I overheard my mother and father talking about some guy who is the son of one of my father's subordinates at work.
Anyway, this guy I went out with was a younger brother to some officemate of my mother. I'm not judgmental when it comes to looks (but his two front teeth were really distracting) but I knew I was never going out with him again because he told me he doesn't read. I almost spit out my drink. Well, there goes another one. My mother will just have to put up with me longer.
