"Hyung."
Jaejoong looked up from his nest of comfort on the bed, bleary eyed and exhausted, at Yoochun, who stood leaning against the windowsill. Two more seconds. Then he stood up, threw on some clothes and wordlessly walked out the bedroom door.
Yoochun followed.

There was always something between them, Jaejoong and Yoochun, even when they first met. Yoochun with bleached blond hair, baggy clothes and bad Korean. Jaejoong with shoulder length hair, black as the night sky, tattered garb and a country accent. They bonded fast and close, misfits at first, the wild cards of TVXQ. They were a deadly pair. Jaejoong was blunt and said what he feels. Yoochun, underneath the rough exterior was really just a big softie. They stuck to each other like glue, an invisible bond. It wasn’t long before they figured out the love they shared was much much more than that of brothers or friends.

Yoochun shivered as he sat in the cold car. Jaejoong, without looking at the younger man, turned up the heat and reached over to hold Yoochun’s hand. Icy skin on icy skin, it was warm to Yoochun. There were no words shared between the two, not ones other people could hear anyways. They could read each other, like words on paper. It was as if the whole world was illiterate except them.

It wasn’t planned, these visits, only when one of them (or both) needed to get away, to escape, would they go. The visits were becoming more and more often as the holiday season approached. Yoochun longed for his family, an ocean away, Jaejoong, not as far but just as maddening. They found comfort in each other, as soul mates do, and comfort in the dull lapping of waves against the riverbank.

Jaejoong drove the car right onto the grass, not caring about the tread marks that would be there tomorrow, right to the top of the hill, overlooking the river. The two singers got out and after laying a blanket on the car’s hood they settled beside each other and were content to watch the sky, looking for Cassiopeia as they always did and finding it almost immediately, as they always did.
It was a routine, always the same, looking out over the river, hands intertwined.
Yoochun opened his mouth to speak, to tell Jaejoong of the composition he was writing, of the notes that didn’t fit quite right. He was cut off though. Jaejoong already knew what was troubling him.
"Call your brother," the older boy said, "it’ll be fine after you call your brother."
Yoochun just nodded and made a note to do that once he got home. He didn’t hesitate to snuggle closer to Jaejoong as well, draping his body on top of the other man.
“Yah! Dongsaeng! Get off of me or else!” Jaejoong snarled, playfully of course.
“Or else what, O wise hyung? Besides, I’m acting as a blanket, insulation is important in winter!” Yoochun said while grinning, lips close to Jaejoong’s ear.
“I have a jacket, you dimwit!” Jaejoong said, wriggling and trying to get the younger man off of him. “And I think you’re cutting off my blood flow. Get off of me! Yoochun!”
Yoochun didn’t answer and instead set his mouth on the shell of Jaejoong’s ear, alternating between kissing and licking.
Jaejoong just kept at it, complaining and whining until Yoochun had a very strong urge to shut him up. So he did, with his lips. Yoochun knew in his mind that it was probably the outcome Jaejoong wanted anyways, besides it was going to happen sooner or later.
With Yoochun’s lips on his and Yoochun’s body on his own, Jaejoong was in somewhat of a sensory overload and couldn’t help himself from moaning, admitting defeat to the younger man.
As soon as Yoochun heard Jaejoong’s moan he stopped and rolled over back onto the car hood, off of Jaejoong.
Jaejoong snarled and planted his body smack dab on top of Yoochun’s.
“Clothes, off, NOW!” the singer hissed, pulling at the younger man’s sweater. After divesting themselves of their clothes at record speed, the two men crushed their lips against one another and hands went to explore known territory once again.
Skin against heated skin on a cold winter’s night made all their nerves more alert, feeling every small touch, every slight brush of the lips. Moans, whispers of ‘please’ ‘faster’ and ‘harder’ could be heard loud and crisp. They were out in the public, by the river and on top of a car no less. That was the last thing on their minds though. Jaejoong was thinking about that tight heat, and the way Yoochun’s blunt nails scratched at his back. Yoochun was reveling at how hard Jaejoong could thrust, hitting his spot every single time, he felt as though he could pass out from the pleasure.
Then it was over, a symphony reaching its peak, silence save for the harsh pants and laboured breathing. The two lovers wrapped themselves up in each other and laid there for a few long minutes, not saying a word, not needing to. They were with each other this holiday and that was enough. Soulmates such as them should never be apart.

In time, the two men untangled themselves and went back to the warm apartment, went to sleep in each others arms on the living room floor no less. In the morning when exchanging presents with the other members, Jaejoong and Yoochun smiled a secret smile while raucous yells of “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Holidays” ran through the air.
Of course, Changmin would also like to add as a side note that he is Buddhist and did not celebrate Christmas. But he’s still grateful for the Wii Junsu gave him. And not so grateful for the gingerbread flavoured lube and condoms that was given to him by his 'Secret Santa' (and who else but a very sneaky Yoochun?)
Also, Changmin says, river patrol called. But Yunho took care of it.
