So...follow the cut if you're interested in my ramblings...
First of all: My first instincts concerning the killer were wrong, but I figured that out before the end...I suspected the scapegoat...what's-his-name...Abby's former boyfriend...but I HATED it that they killed the english lad and his girlfriend. I really liked those tow characters. To be honest, I thought they were way more interesting than the main characters.
Sadly, I wasn't scared that often...I was hoping for more "OMG, I'm gonna sh*t my pants"-moments. I really think that's because of the music. It was so typical. You always knew "Oh, now I should be scared" or "this is supposed to be suspensful"...
And I also hated the sub plot surrounding the money and the guy accidently shooting himself...that was a load of crap...and the ending was such a cliché...once you knew who the killer was you also knew who was gonna make it.
And I think the motive for the killings were kinda...lame. In my opinion they should've pressed more on the the fact, that Henry (was that his name??) had these urges all along...that would've made much more sense.
But all in all I enjoyed Harper's Island. Nice little show.
