Bloody ground = fertile land

Page 5 of "Gnomes from Underground" is on the internet. This thing is alarmingly slow to do, what with all of my other, apparently, numerous commitments, but it will be finished. This is a story that needs to be told. Yes and some of the dialogue is still hard to read but I will improve this in future pages ( Read more... )

I'm continuing to enjoy your work. Why have I never seen any of this before, you person?

Because I, uh, essentially haven't really produced anything since end of high school or freshman year of college until now (I guess) due to nebulous emotional reasons (that is how I rationalize all of my basic failures anyway). I am so pleased that you like it! I really, really hope that it is comprehensible to those that do not already know me (a nice woman from local coffee shop still offers hope!).

As someone who knows you somewhat, I must admit my enjoyment would be assisted by, perhaps, a brief dramatis personae.

You mean like a list of all the characters? That is like a really good idea. Oh, tomorrow one shall be furnished. In the meantime - important: http://wynand.livejournal.com/439329.html (!) I apparently like Batman

Yes, a list of all the characters. Ideally, you would have a list, with a 'headshot' of them all, including a one-line of the character's past, one line of the character's objective, should one exist, and one line of the character's relationship with the (pro/an)tagonist. "works a dismal technical support job" is sufficient, for example, to prep the unschooled for the head to desk scenes (which are phenomenal).
