hmm
So, random life update. There isn't much, I suppose, but I'm bored, so here goes nothing.
-Been going to gym a lot lately. Feel better, but still look the same. meh.
-Went to High Park with Ryan the other day. It was awesome. We walked in the forest, played with a mouse, watched a bee pollinate cool tube-y flowers, saw animals, played in the castle playground like the 5 year olds that we are.
-Really want to go see Rancid next weekend, but need to find out if I have the night off. And if I do, need to find someone who wants to go on such short notice.
-Almost done at work, THANK GOD! I'm officially over College Street and just about everything it stands for. I have most of next week off. Hopefully I'll get to see people and stuff.
-I've been thinking a lot about the future lately. What my upcoming semester holds for me. I'm excited and scared all at the same time. Hopefully T.A.-ing for Desktop Publishing again. Most likely doing a research for the Dean of the college. I'm excited at all the opportunities I'm getting. I finally feel like my hard work is paying off into something tangible, even if it is resume-style-tangible. But I think I'm just scared of letting people down. I guess I always am.
-Been thinking of the friends I've lost/forgotten about/been forgotten about. At first, I thought the latter hurt the most. Now I realize it really is for the best. Some people are not good for others, and the cleansing process has been good.
-I feel like I'm ready for something, but I don't know what. A move? A trip? A tattoo? Angus is not going back to Ireland after all, instead he's moving to Hamilton. Maybe that. Maybe not. I feel odd. I think I need to finish school finally. I think that's it. I think I'm ready to be a grown up. At least a little bit.
-I ordered a pair of shoes from the internet. Ooh. First time for everything. I could not for the life of me find a pair of shoes that I really honestly loved, which meant I wasn't going to buy anything. But then, THEN! I go into one of those Queen Street shops and see them. Beautiful, stripey, black, white. Great! I bring Sharad over on his break from FCUK to get a second approval. He falls in love too. Can I try a pair? Size 5??? Yeah right! I can't do that. The bitchy lady says the company doesn't deliver. I check the website, yes they do crazy lady! So, I now love Draven shoes, because they have given me my beautiful shoes for the year.
