"Ate Danna, why do you know so much about make-up?"

...*

I guess its my vice.

Some people drink. Some people smoke.

I study make-up.

Its not something I really need. It does me more harm than good.

But it keeps me sane.

*I do NOT claim to know a lot about make-up. But gahdemmet if I have to whine and defend myself every time some barefaced person asks me this... Its much faster this way.

Make-up "gigs" all throughout the weekend (and will prolly stretch to December) and my stash is sorely lacking. After all, I like to study about it, but I don't apply all of it! I still want to do a good job though.

So if any of you are willing to donate to this poor little girl's cause, I am in need of the following, by Friday at the latest (I am listing the cheap options I am aware of):

1. HARDCORE BRONZER

I luv me some bronzer so I do have some for myself, but mine is the everyday, subtle type. What I need right now is some hardcoreOMGiamSOtryingtobeJLo bronzer. I need something that SCREAMS BRONZZZZZZEEEEEEERRRRRR!!!
I've heard HBC carries liquid bronzer and since HBC's prices are cheap it'd be a good buy. I haven't seen it myself though. Powder bronzers are aplenty and can be found practically anywhere although they might not necessarily be labeled as such. But if you get the same effect, why not?

2. HIGHLIGHTER

It goes by many names like highlighter, luminizer, shimmer gel, etc. but it all serves the same purpose: if shadows make things recede, then highlighters bring things out. Its like having a mini-spotlight on the part its applied on. Well, theoretically.
They are EVERYWHERE although again, like the bronzer, they may not be labeled as such. Where there are cheap eyeshadows, you'll prolly find something like this too as its basically a shimmery nude shade of shadow. I need it in large quantities though :(

3. DIFFERENT SHADES OF FOUNDATION

The fact is I have only ONE foundation, and its the shade for MY skintone and the type for MY skin-type. Obviously, different people warrant different needs. Powder foundations are the easiest to work with although I hate them for in-person appearances as it appears "flat"; its very photogenic though. Liquid foundation is the opposite. A happy medium would be cream or two-way foundations. Although being the beggar here, anything will suffice, really. I just need more shades.
Again, everywhere although prolly not as easy as eyeshadow. Please check if its pigmented though as I can't settle for light coverage; I don't have time to build layers. There are custom blend-your-own colors varieties out too, although I wouldn't trust myself with those things.

Random eyeshadows, pigments, lipsticks, etc are always welcome.

Given any of these, I shall be forever grateful and you can ask me to do your make-up anytime when it isn't inconvenient.

Also, I apologize for the seeming shallowness of this entry. Its just make-up, I know. Let's just have some fun.
