Sorry, this sarah palin thing is getting so damned embarassing and scary. She will NEVER be prepared enough for this. Can we just have the election now so I can get over the anxiety of the possibility that this airhead might have to fill in if McCain dies if he gets elected?

lol.. yeah... I guess you can say that. I mean, I do take satisfaction in the fact that my finances are for the most part stable. However, I don't like that a lot of people will be facing financial turmoil, not to mention the burden of recovery imposed on the people by this government. I do wish the best for everyone. However, people are not going to be well off until they begin to seriously consider that their finances are being manipulated for the gain of a select few. But, in the end, I still think the majority of the people will continue to beg government for change/solution without ever fully understanding what it is they're asking for, i.e. one cannot ask for a plausible solution when he/she does not know the problem. If I could give one word for what the problem is, I'd most likely go with usury. And the tool is fiat currency.
But, anyhow... we'll have a better idea of what direction this government is going to take us come November, but things don't look too good. Granted, the economy will bounce back, and begin to do so somewhat after the election, though there might be a volatile fluctuation after the 1st inaugural address, but overall I don't think we'll see a strong bull market until 2011-2012 when the taxes are reformed.
My initial notion in regards to this "market/economical crisis" is that it is artifical; i.e. I'm pondering whether or not the fall of AIG and other pillars of the market weren't planned and executed in order to establish grounds for a health care system and to further subjugate the people. It does seem like a power grab by the FED. It seems like a repeat of the 1893 Panic and 1907 Bankers' Panic, except far more dynamic since, essentially, there is no "real money" involved, just legal tender, and mind you, mortgages can act as a currency so to speak. So, you have all these banks calling in their currency, i.e. mortgages. Mind you, a foreclosure is a bank calling in the loan.
What I see eventually happening is the ploy, "We need 700 billions dollars to save the economy, but in turn, it's all ok because you all get health care now." It's false benefits. Are benefits really benefits when they're imposed on you?
All in all, I see that this governing body, at certain levels, has allowed this crisis to occur in order for a select few to impose change through means of economical leverage. To me, it's economical conquest plain and simple.
We officially have a fascist-socialist government.
These are just my initial thoughts that I'm throwing out right now. I haven't really evaluated everything yet. But, it is ugly.
