Weekend is over already??? :-(
WOW, where did that weekend go? Friday morning I flew to San Jose for a meeting for my union. It was the final meeting of our state conference committee before our state conference which will be July 30-August 6 in Las Vegas. I am really looking forward to going to Las Vegas and being able to bring John with me. Although I will be really busy at the conference, he has already set out on finding people.....I mean things to do while I'm on the conference floor. The committee members are a lot of fun. We went to a great BBQ place in San Jose.....Rick's High Life for dinner Friday night.....then headed to the hotel bar and proceeded to bond over a while crapload of boozahol......it was really a lot of fun!! Saturday we had to attend the state board meeting...early...
after a night of major alcohol consumption. NOT FUN!!! Then I had to catch a plane back to Ontario. At the airport in San Jose, I got to see a real live episode of Southwest Airlines TV show AIRLINE. Some drunk asshole was trying to board the plane, and they refused to let him board the airplane. I am glad they did, cause with all the turbulance we had on the flight, I know he would have spewed all over the place and really stunk up the plane. When I landed in Ontario, I jumped in the car and headed back to our Palm Springs Bears pool party. It was a great party with lot's of hot bears, daddies and cubs. Then after the party, we headed to the monthly play party that some friends have each month. I must say, I definately had a good time there!!!
Sunday we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with 3 of our bear friends. Really liked the movie alot. Now, I'm getting ready to make pizza for dinner, then hitting the sack so I can get up at 5 a.m. and get to work tomorrow. Ws 118 degrees here today, and tomorrow looks to be about the same. Oh Well.....I'll stay inside as much as I can and drink lot's of water.....and just keep telling myself that it's a dry heat!!
