i just also meant to tack on to the above comment i made about the first comment that i edited it because my point was really just lost in the first comment, and thus it defeated the entire reason i wrote it...

But I'm wondering why stuff should have to be laid out rather than thought about and answered on your own, based on whatever has been said.

Left and right.

i don't mind things being thought out on our own... but even after that, what one meant is still fundamentally unknown, even if we have our opinions... that's all i'm saying...

Problem with the idea of figuring it out for ourself is anonymous January 9 2004, 21:40:52 UTC
That we don't come to understand the meaning and intent that the writer intended. We come to our own conclusion, which can ultimately only be a truth about ourself. And while that may be equally valuable, it doesn't help the reader understand the mind of the writer.

I do it too, but I thought I'd point it out.

You spoke of opinions, which are beside the point. I'm talking about reader-created meaning, which is as much fact as Jovo's meaning.
But I'm being picky.

It was a simple post, meant to arouse a smirk.
But now that the fuss is all been made of it, I will leave it a mystery. Hint: Think "all singing, all dancing"

Bwaghagaga gahhaggaa .... I'm so elitist.
