Well this weekend was interesting...
Friday night after work I went to the movies with Mike to see Boogeyman. On the way there, there was this man walking down the street backwards talking to himself. So of course, Mike had to roll down the car window and tell him that he was walking the wrong way, but I don't think the guy heard him anyway. So then we saw the movie, which was pretty cheesy, but every 5 seconds something would pop out and scare the crap out of you. So I'd be thinking how bad the movie wa sand then something would flash and I would jump, I hit my leg on the arm rest twice. We saw Shawn and Lily and Zack and Brittney there and they invited us to sit with them, but we casually backed away from their group and went to the Food Court. where Dave and Ashley were. We ate with Dave and Ashley but then they went to see a different movie than us, so we went in and saw the movie.
Then Saturday after work Nicole and I went out to get food at Applebees, which was interesting..
"I can admit I got spaghetti on my face because I'm a real man"
"Hold, on I'll tell you in a sec" ::laughter:: "Hang on" ::laughter:: "You sounds like" ::shoves spoon in mouth::
"It's in an apple basket!"
"Ohhhh Helll noo"
"Blonde hair, how generic"
Then we didn't feel like going home but pretty much everything was closed, so we decided pretty much the only thing there was to do was to go play pool, and Stella's was right near there so we went there. I'd never been to that pool place before, and I've gotta say, it is White Trash Central. Nicole and I were the only ones tatooless, sober, or under 25. We played a couple games and then left rather fast after Nicole got hit on by the female version of Rick Parsons and I had come very close to hitting some guy with my pool stick like five times.
And today it's the SuperBowl and my mom is making a bunch of food so that's atleast good. I still have to do a Physics Lab and an English paper. And I should probably get started on my Inferno paper, I meant to go to the art store for posterboards and whatnot today. Blahhh
I did relatively well on my mid terms. I got a 94 on Physics, a 100 on History, an A+ on the History thesis paper, a 92 on the Physics thesis paper, an 80something on psych, but an A+ for the quarter, an 80something in Street Law, and that's all I know. I better have gotten an A in AP English because I saw her rankbook and all my work was in and I didn't do bad on any quizzes. Third quarter starts tomorrow, which means that Phych turns into Sociology and also means it's a little less than 4 months until graduation, so close yet so far away... actually it's pretty much only far away.
So far I've gotten into HPU, Temple, Emmanuel,and UMass Ameherst.
I'm still waiting on St. John's, and I need to send a mid-year report into Ithaca before they can accept/reject me. So we'll see.
