It's snowing

It's 8 deg right now, and I have no heat :-( I called the heater guy and he'll be here sometime between 11:00AM & 3:00PM. He said that because my oil tank is outside the house, it's possible the single didget temps congield the oil. Yesterday when I walked out of the house I noticed a fully black woolybear caterpillar - I guess this means it is going to be a very cold winter.

I was surprised to see it, doen't they hybernate or something?

The weather report said rain, so I grabbed my rain coat. Two minutes into my drive it started rain/snow combination. By the time I got to work, it was sleeting. So I froze walking into the office from the parking lot. Looked out the window five minutes later, it was snowing.

I just popped outside for a bit since everyone was saying how nice it was. .... whimper, I really should have just closed everything down and left early. it is really really nice out there.

According to the calendar, today is the first day of SPRING!!!
.... now if only the weather would cooperate.

So it's two more weeks to Spring and it's in the low 60's right now outside. I'm stuck at my desk but am leaving in an hour so I'll get to enjoy a little of it.

Next week (with one more week to Spring) I'm off to sunny Tuscon for my first business trip with the department. I checked the weather ...... this is sooooo going to be a nice break.

The first snowfall of the season is happening here in Lawrenceville, NJ.

At least it waited until after rush hour.

I think I just saw a little pig in a stripped sweater and scarf fly by the window. odd
