photo albums

Question for my techy friends. I'm looking for a desktop photo album for digital photos. Something like Photobucket, but for my desktop.

I've been scanning in all my old family photos and I need a way to organize them now. At this point, I don't want to post them on-line. There is got to be an easy way to label & organize them.
