not quite the weekend I had planned
Wound up having to drop my car off for service, so I was carless for the weekend. Which really wasn't too bad, it made me stay home and do stuff around the house that needed being done.
Cleaned out the storage container cabinet - way too many reusable/disposable containers - way - WAY too many! The recycling guys are gonna love me. Three bags (or was it four) glass & plastic.
Cleaned out the liquor cabinet and tossed anything that was opened or so old that it had an inch of sediment. For some reason we had a bunch of bottles of drink mixes. Neither Mom nor I drank, so who knows how old these things were! And with all the plastic stuff gone, I was able to move what liquor I did keep into a different cabinet.
Cleaned up the living room and rearranged some of the furniture. I think I vacuumed up enough cat hair to build another cat.
Laundry and changing around my closet. Weeded out a few more pieces of clothing. I'm sure I could get rid of more of the things I just don't wear anymore. Need to start going through the shoes next.
Packed up all of Mom's china and found a new place to put it (since the auction guy took the china cabinet). This also went into one of the kitchen cabinets I had was able to rearrange.
Weekend TV .....
Startgate Atlantis - OMG, I so did NOT see that coming!!
Sanctuary - the story lines need more flow, seems like they are stretch out a 1/2 hour plot.
Primeval - Poor Max!!! Who are these creepy guys and what is their real agenda?
TrueBlood - I read the book and I know who the bad guy is. Unless they've changed the who it is, the writers are doing a really good job of not giving him away. Tara seems to be coming around, but what they've done with her & Sam is sooooooo far off of the books. I really love what they've done with everything else!
