For those who know my neice Tori, these are her words. She read this at Mom's funeral. I just came across it again and though I would share. It's a very good picture of Mom.

It's hare to find words to describe such a unique lady. My Grandmother, Renee was, to say the very least a great person. Never have I met another person with such vitality and love of life. She was strong, independant, intelligent, honest, generous, opionated, wise, optimisc and yet graceful. But most importantly, she was always right. Maybe even a little stuborn at times. Although I'm pretty sure that rubbed off on me. In fact alot of her triats did. She had a huge part in making me the person I am today. And if I do say so myself, she did a pretty great job. But the real point here is that my grandmother had an amazing life, filled with amazing people and amazing adventures that we all had the pleasure of being a part of. And when the time came she bowed out gracefully just like the real lady she always was. I know it makes us all very upset to see her go but let us not be sad over her departure and let us celebrae the wonderful life she once lived. Because that is what she wold have wanted.
