last night
I visited with Mom for 2 hours last night. All the doctors are suggesting hospice, there is an in-patient facility near here which everyone is telling me is very nice. I'm just now waiting for patient serviced to call me with the details.
The Rabbi called me back and we had a long conversation about Mom's condition and what her wishes were. I also told him that I'm planning on sitting Shiva when the time comes.
Spoke with my brother Kenny and told him that if he wanted to come home, now would be a good time. He's going to check to see what time he can get off work. Also spoke with my sister Laurel, but she's too ill to travel at this time.
By the time I got off the phone with Laurel I was in tears and wound up calling marillian to come and sit with me for a few hours.
I really appreciate everyones kind words, they're helping me get through this.
