Thanksgiving plans, part 2
backstory: Mom had mentioned to me the other day that she told my neice that we were doing Thanksgiving on Sunday since my brother would be in town. gee, let's not tell the person who is doing all the shopping & cooking. So I called Tori to double check, and yes, Mom had told her & Marty dinner would be Sunday.
Fast forward to this morning: Told Mom that I spoke with Tori and confirmed that we are doing Sunday instead. She now tells me that she's invited her two friends to come too. WHAT???? I wasn't sure that the duck would stretch to 5 people now I have to feed 7?!?! (rasum-frasum-growl) Okay, so the duck is out, I'll just put it in the freezer tonight and make it some other time.
Now I have to go buy a turkey. I can still make all the other sides I was planning on. Hmm, maybe I'll do a ham instead, I've never cooked one of those, and there was a coupon in last Sunday's paper .....
