I have come into the department to pick up the draft of my dissertation, heavily annotated over the Christmas break by my dissertation supervisor. It is not where my supervisor claims she left it ie. in the 'things to be picked up by undergraduates' box.

Her suggestion is to wait and see if someone realizes they picked it up by mistake and returns it. I didn't tell her that I don't think this is very likely. In the meantime, we must have a meeting.
