Usually the kidnappings are more noticeable, but... I hadn't even realized.

If anything, at least this is a good example that I have been far too careless. [He didn't set up NEARLY enough booby traps in his apartment.]

I guess at one point, we become too careless. [Now she's thinking of booby trapping her room too. AND NO, NOT IN THAT WAY.] This place has a way of lulling you into a false sense of security from what I've observed.

That is a large part of why most things here are so convenient.

Some people even seem to adjust to this place better than their own.

I suppose it's sort of necessary to adjust well to this place if one wants to survive.

I don't disagree. But the captive should still realize this place is not natural. Nor do they belong here.

I am confident he will. After all, I do not believe this is the first time any of us have been kidnapped in the past. [And by "any of us" he obviously means the ones who've been here the longest. Him, Naruto, Shika, Choiji. Possibly Temari too.]
