Topics So Often

Gasp! This is my second update this month! Am I running out of things to do, or do I just have a ton of exciting news to report about my life? Um...
Sheila and I went to look at some reception halls for our wedding, and we came across a couple pretty nice ones that are within our price range... The Knights of Columbus hall, and The American Legion. We're not done looking yet, but at least both those venues are worth our while, and they're both available on our wedding day. And when is that? June 10, 2006. I better not forget.
Also, I got to see my friend Amy on Saturday. She was "in town" - meaning "kind of far from my apartment" - on Saturday, so we went out to eat at Applebee's with Sheila and a couple of Amy's friends. The evening seemed to go by too quickly, but it was good to get to see her.
Plus - you're going to mistakenly think I've got a huge social life - Mike and Jaime are going to be in the Chicagoland area on Thursday, and I'm going to be getting together with them. I haven't seen them since I've left Quincy. That seems so long ago, even if it was just a month and a half ago. Boy am I tired.
That's why I'm writing short sentences and switching topics so often. Just in case you were wondering.
Sheila's sister Lisa got rid of her furniture, and I got the stuff she didn't want! So now in my living room, I have two extra chairs and a couch (with a footrest) to add to the two chairs I already have. If you ever decide to visit Steger, there will certainly be a place for you to sit in my apartment.
Lisa gave birth to a baby girl this morning. Her name - the baby's, not Lisa's, obviously - is Jaedyn. An interesting spelling of an interesting name, but she's perfectly happy, and she looked relatively good after the nurses got her cleaned up. Plus, the hospital cafeteria has some excellent bacon.
I might be going to bed soon.
Random song lyrics: "I got the car, I got the rug, and I got the rack, but I ain't got Jack - and I want my Jack back."
