I haven't posted in forEVAR. This is mostly due to the fact that nothing has been going on. I've been playing a lot of WoW which is beautiful and brutal. My main is a night elf rogue...go figure, sneaking around with two daggers dripping with poison. :)
My parent's neighborhood had quite a shock this past weekend. A friend, Dave Warner, died of a heart attack while shoveling snow on saturday. He was 59 and had been good friends with my parents for 17 years. It was terribly sad... Apparently his snow blower had died so he grabbed a shovel. His best friend, Paul, who used to live next to him had brought his snow blower to help Dave out. Just as he approached, Dave fell. I've never seen so many grown men cry at a funeral before. Dave was a sort of figure head on my parent's block. He organized the summer block parties and pig roasts. He had put my mustang back together for little or no cost every time some idiot drove into it. Everyone loved Dave. His funeral became standing room only and nearly 300 people were at the post-funeral lunch at Park Place. Anyways, he was a good and honest man and I will miss him.
