Author's Note: I must credit this story's origin as spiraling off a short Numb3rs piece I read. It's called "The Other Son," and it is by Melissa Jooty. I expanded on the basic concept of Don being taken after a baseball game, but my mind went to how Don might be if he'd survived that, and how it would play out if they were reunited.
I decided to post this story link here (it's crossposted a couple other places) because I really think the interaction between Don/Terry in this story is one of its strongest and best parts.
The story is complete. I am going to miss it, but overall, it turned out very well. Links here is for the story tag on my livejournal.
