It's not competition--it's survival! Us akuma are programmed to kill and evolve, so when too many gather in one area we start attackin each other. But since I'm programmed to self-destruct if I kill humans, I have to settle for other akuma.

What he gave you is a farce. If what you say is true then all he did was free you from someone's control and put the blame solely on you for harming another living creature. How thoughtful of him.
