Just an update on the Screaming Tiki Super Con. They had about 1,000 people there and wound up $40,000 in the red. As you may recall, the con was part of a thing called Ingenuiyfest. Well, the con people are claiming the fest people misled them about the number of people coming to the fest. There's lots of finger pointing about why the con failed, but I can tell you why: It was slapped together way too fast with a poor guest list at a bad time of the year.
Any "name" talent is too busy getting ready for Comic-Con to come to take 4 or 5 days off for yet another show.
Still, I had a fairly good time. There was a trolley tour of Superman-related sites in Cleveland that I enjoyed a lot. And I got to see a bunch of friends I haven't seen in a while.
