So today I had a delivery to Small Town in the Middle of Nowhere. It's a house, so I make sure someone will be there to sign for the stuff when I get there. Not a problem, I'm told. Someone will be there between 12:30PM and 2PM. So I get there about 12:40 and ring the doorbell. No answer. I call the guy's cell phone and leave a message. My office says to just wait like 10 minutes and see if he calls me back or shows up. So the 10 minutes elapse and he doesn't call or show up.
But Grandma Babysitter was home all the time watching the kids. She knows her son-in-law gets deliveries from us once or twice a month; she recognizes the uniform. She doesn't recognize me, though. Her solution?
The Man. Five-O. John Law.
Yep, she called the cops.
Anyway, he cleared things up, but still, calling the cops? When you know we deliver there all the time?
