More conservative skullduggery

They're at it again. ABC is set to air a "docudrama" about the events that lead up to the 9/11 terrorist attack. They claim it's all based on the 9/11 Commission report and other statements. Unfortunately, most of it is also untrue. They paint the picture that Clinton and his administration allowed Bin Laden to roam free and even turned down an opportunity to kill the man - all of which is untrue. In fact, the 9/11 Commission report explains this quite clearly. So the writer/director of this piece of shit is a close, personal friend of Mr. Rush Limbaugh. Rush thinks this movie is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Calling one scene, in which Clinton administration official Sandy Berger turns down an opportunity to kill Bin Laden, "unbelievable... no, not unbelievable but AMAZING!" It's unbelievable because it DIDN'T HAPPEN. And that's FACT. Unfortunately ABC seems to think it's okay to not only provide misinformation about the attacks, but also attempt to counter-instruct high school kids into thinking this was all Clinton's fault. It's disgusting. How could this be okay?? Check out mediamatters.org for more background on this little endeavor.
