I ended up not getting to sleep until just before 9 AM and sleeping through to about 4 PM. Woke up with enough time to skim FB and Twitter on my TweetDeck then get to work on dinner since the skimming takes about an hour and dinner took about two.
So not what I had in mind for the day. :P
But, got enough done last night, made some small progress on Charms. I had hoped to have the chapter finished today, at least one round through it, but these last couple of chapters are proving not to be difficult but slow. Now it's looking like I won't finish until mid-January. Not happy about that, but it's still not bad considering this project was started just under 3 years ago. Sounds like a long time, but I was also finishing A.C. at the time and had at least a 6 month break in there some time and A.C. itself took over 20. I'll take 3 over 20 any time. And I'm still getting comfortable with my process, the one I developed while writing A.C.. I'm hoping I'll get faster as I get more used to it. Anyway, I'm only 6 months off the deadline I set for myself (compared to a year or so when I finally set one with A.C.), and that's also an improvement. So, yea, late, but content. And I'm pretty happy with the novel overall. Something else that never used to happen.
Today was also tea day: I received
inkytwig's tea gift of 4 holiday teas from Stash. I love Stash teas and really wanted to try their holiday flavors. I've already tried Christmas Eve. Smelled WONDERFUL and has a delicate flavor-have to be careful with the sugar and the milk, really easy to overpower it.
And I've already begun using the Living Cookbook/eFit program combo to monitor food. Did tons better today than yesterday, but am still working out the kinks and had to add recipes to one and food values to the other. Kinda time consuming, but now the things I ate today are in and easy to access for either program. My biggest issue right now is getting eFit to take edits. Not sure why it doesn't, but so far, if you've saved a food in the database, it's just easier and more productive to delete and start over than to attempt an edit. It also asks for a lot more than the nutritional values LC asks for, but that might just be a matter of adjusting options in LC. Fortunately, you don't need all the values for the food to save in the eFit database, and I'm actually not all that concerned with most of them. If I get my diet on track, they should all end up in the right range for the day.
So, yea, not as much done as I'd hope, but good enough. Here's the numbers, as pathetic as they are. ;)

Still keeping the goals pretty simple. My new planner should be in tomorrow or the next day. Pretty pleased I'll have it before the first. Still not so happy that it's not a Burde (B&N isn't selling Burde planners again this year), but At-A-Glance is an American company, so supposedly I just helped the American economy a little bit. It'll be nice to be able to just go right into the new year on the new planner without having to recopy from this year's or skip any time because I don't have it. I'm pretty much a creature of habit these days. :)

Should have a tiny bit more time to work tomorrow, barring over sleeping again. Getting the kids back on track for school, which starts Monday, so they're going to bed around 9:30 or 10 PM. They usually aren't much trouble at night anyway, reading in their rooms, but they can occasionally be interruptive. lol
Anyway, better get to it!
