Blood Charms
Yesterday was good and bad. Bad because weather kicked in and I had a hard time finding any motivation. But once I did, I finished one chapter and managed a round on a second chapter (which will be finished and sent to my pre-beta reader tonight). Not too sure about the first chapter, but very pleased with the second at the moment.
Decisions have been made about Christmas. Middle girl will join us Christmas Eve, even though we don't traditionally do anything on the eve. We'll open her presents, do a little baking, but that's probably it. Chef has about fallen over from the grocery list as well, but hopefully we can keep it down with smart shopping, Kroger discounts, and a few coupons. I made it clear that we had to be sure to cover the following week in addition to Christmas dinner. I don't mind pushing disconnects, I do mind scrambling for food, esp when the kids are home all day. And, yes, I'm bracing for another round of financial juggling. *shrug*
Other than those two things, the day was pretty mellow. I slept in and resisted going back to bed, an accomplishment all its own. :P

Keeping it pretty short today. Pretty much have given up on a few extras for the week. Tomorrow Chef works, I make dinner. Youngest will be going to oldest's. Might ask her to take boyo with her so I can have one full day to myself, but I might also not get up in time to make sure it happens. Waiting on some packages I've been warned about. Friday we grocery shop and cry at the cost. lo Saturday we bake and middle girl comes by. Sunday we do what we can for Christmas. So not seeing much more being done for the rest of this week, though I'll probably work on Charms, the WCP editing, and the beta read.
