Assassin's Choice is back in my hands, and I spent most of the night going through the suggestions (I think I ended up not working on only two of them), so now I can say it is officially done and ready for submission.
Sort of.
I need to set up the excerpt pages for email subs, and I need to revise my synopsis and query letter. And these things will be my focus for the rest of this week, which means everything else is shoved to the side for now.
Which means a lot of goals unmet again this week, and for good reason. It also means I give up on my annual word count goal because last night's pass took me over the second goal of 625k for the year. I'll probably never have a year with a word count as high as this one, but I can see myself hitting 1 million words processed (not all new words, but processed), with almost 2/3rds of that A.C. work.
But the novel is done!
Finally!
And good Lord is it about time! :P
