So, did my chapter and then tried to work on my story. It said, 'I will be difficult.' So then I tried to do a crit. Meh.
Basically, motivation went down the drain, BUT....
I did make most of my goals for once. I kept a pretty steady pace all week. I finally finished a chapter for A.C. that I've been stuck on for awhile because of lack of time. I started a new, and fun!, project. And I may not have finished my short story revisions, but I did make progress.
I've done more this week than I've managed in a month for quite awhile now.
So, on the one hand, I'm thinking it's okay to power down a little at the end of my week. Didn't cross everything off, no, but did make significant progress. On the other, I'm worried about losing my motivation and forward motion.
I suppose I could count what I've done so far on my short into my word count this week, but I prefer to wait until I've finished the revision.
And I could go play with the new project, or maybe even look at Phoenix (which I'm not supposed to be ignoring). Next week I need to look through two A.C. chapters since I might be combining them, so I'm not sure how much I'll get done on anything else. I could start setting up for that tonight as well.
Lots I could do. Not a whole heck of a lot I WANT to do. lol
