LP Take Over
I've been picking at chapter 31 and making okay, if slow, progress. There seems to be a lot more deep thought going on with this chapter, if that makes sense. A lot more pauses as I try to figure out how to adjust the language and the depth. Maybe it's just a perception thing that it feels like it's taking a little more to get it revised "right" than in previous chapters. Who knows.
At any rate, for the next few days, even my weekend, it's all LP. I'm totally focusing on galleys right now. The deadline is too close, so I even have to give up my personal writing stuff for the weekend if necessary. I already know that one of the books needs a second go, and I'm pretty sure the other will too.
Not going to go into how it annoys me to be so pushed against the deadline like this.
So, that's the deal for the next few days: LP galleys. If I find space in between, I need to get crits done and will try to work some more on chapter 31. I doubt much more than that will come out of this weekend, but at least this time it's not my fault.
As for my feel good thing, I'll have to think about it. I'm sure I'll come up with something. For now, I am soooooooo back in bed once the boyo is on his bus.
