A difficult good bye. Well sort of...
Well, it finally happened.
The decision to quit was an agonizing one to make because I did not want to lose the income. To make a long story short I got feed up of my co-worker dumping work off on me so I said something about it. When I told the AM she told me she said did not want to hear it. From that point forward what ever Mrs. Lazy said as far as I was concerned, was right. When Mrs. Lazy could not do a job because the customers disks were corrupt, that was exactly what I had told the customer, dropping Mrs. Lazy's name in the bargain as the one who handled the job.
The customer went and complained to the district manager and the district manager came in the store screaming at one of the AM's. With the dookey dropped kicked down the hill and quickly gaining speed, Mrs. Lazy got written up and there was nothing her manager buddy could do to stop it. Not surprising Mrs. Lazy quit a few weeks later. But that did not stop her friends the AM, another team member from working with Mrs. Lazy. They started an organized a revenge campaign since they blamed me for Mrs. Lazy getting caught in a lie. They did so by ostracizing me, blaming me for things I did not do, they would not tell me what was going on with customer orders and told other co workers not to help me. Most of which blew up in their face because they had to tell me what was going on. The manager listened to the AM complain about me and did nothing about it.
Not that she should not have been lying in the first place or leaving early especially when the DM was standing right on the sales floor watching her leave. So we are not talking about the intellectual crème of the crop here. The cherry on this shit sundae came on my first day there when she told me " oh we can throw that job out but since you saw it I guess we have to do it". Mrs Lazy. was telling me to throw customers orders away and the AM swore this girl could do no wrong. And Mrs. Lazy thought she deserved to get revenge on me because she got caught lying. This place was fucken insane to say the least.
I came to find out Mrs Lazy was hanging around my apartment complex. I though it was funny because she is walking around outside having to spend her gas money to look at a building all day. I guess this is my gift receipt to let me know just how pissed off that freaking dumb shit is.
