(no subject)
I am burning a candle made out of surf wax right now. The ambiance in my room is pretty much down. It's so beachy and California inspired. This weekend was just what I needed becuase I got to go home and visit my family and Amesbury for a few days. I saw my parents, Mimi and Grampy, the dog... and went to the beach on Sat. and just chilled there. I also stopped into Cinnamon's and got some "booties" so I could "get wet" on Sunday. haha. There were barely any waves Sunday, especially compared to Sat. when a bunch of surfers were out. I ended up going in and surfing for almost 2 hours. It was very theraputic. There were a few other surfers, but none that stayed very long on account of the small waves. It was nice to be in the ocean, as always, and away from the city.
Speaking of the crazy city. I brought my bike up here so I can ride around with Dylan. Today was quite the adventure. We went on a trail through JP and past all these ponds and wilderness- very nice. I also enjoyed the bike trail from Back bay. But what was really insane was the city riding we did. We looked crazy. 2 hippie looking kids, wearing cutoff jeans and plaid shorts riding mountain bikes on main roads. That's not something you see everyday. The traffic was scary.. hah. I cant believe we did that. Then we met some emerson friends at Bennigan's. We shared an app. called flatbread pizza, but Dyl said it was like a giant saltine with cheez whiz on it. Good call.
Tonight should be fun, because we plan to go to this mexican restaurant in the fenway neighborhood and then watch the dogtown and zboys documentary. Days off are nice..
Oh and I spoke with m y housekeeping boss, who is a complete ass. They are firing people. If they fire me, that will be an interesting twist to this year. But I dont know what their deal is... the bosses have no idea who does what becuase they barely even interact with us. It's weird.
