here's the skinny on me this summer
Hello hello.
Like I said, I've decided to start this thing up again, mostly because it's become quite sad that I am too lazy to write anything anymore.
Since it's been a while, and I'm a little rusty at this, I will keep this entry simple and catch up with myself and figure out what I've been doing these days.
For those of you who are unaware, I'm living in Boston this summer- forthemost part. @ 80 the Fenway. I still live with Alee, Patrick and Dylan. I am working 2 jobs- by day I clean a guest house located at 463 Beacon St. It's an old brownstone that some millionaire decided to host as a hotel alternative where people can stay right in the middle of a nice neighborhood. It's basically mornings 9-3/4pm. I really dont mind the job at all, I actually enjoy it. The staff is all guys, except me. Some old and smelly, who I did not like at first, but now I don't mind them at all. And there are 2 21 yr. olds (BU and Berklee dudes) they are both cool, and it is nice to have some new people in the mix. Walking up 5 flights of stairs MULTIPLE times a day is a big part of this job. My legs are rock solid already.
My other job is at Coldstone at the Landmark Center by Fenway park, which I wrote about in here earlier. This job is basically not worth the money, but I really like the people I work with and for. I also get free ice cream, but decided recently that I am no longer taking advantage of this perk, for reasons I'm sure most of you can figure out. We sing songs for tips- it's fine if you are in the mood and not fun if you aren't.
In my free time I go on walks, usually with Dylan. We walk the bridges, sometimes down Charles st. to Cambridgeside...Harvard Square on occasion for some Border Cafe margaritas. A lot of aimless walking and snacks seem to amuse us enough. Alex, Dylan's bf is around a lot. He's a good egg! Also hanging out with the people usually around on weekends- Sean, Bee, Mag, Lyn, Jeremy, my roommates, Ian, Britt, Vanny, Sara, etc...
All of the boys who I once thought I liked, I either have lost interest for no apparant reason or Has a friggin girlfriend. I'm done with the game. Atleast that's what I'd like to think, but why do all the nice ones allready have gfs. that's no fair!
Other things are going nicely I suppose. I've been making some nice lunches and snacks- going out to lunch on occasion at work with fellow housekeepers... ordering pizza pier, ordering 3 whiskey sours at middlesex last night! ummmmm... stuff like that.
I hope to take a nice beach getaway soon. Salisbury. hehe... I need to lay out, swim.. go surfing before and after, maybe. Why not!?
also, i'll mention it again as it approaches, but come to my apartment this saturday for a huge keg/toga/ice luge party. it's going to be big and crazy and really fun, because no one has parties anymore. We have a roofdeck and lots of good people will be here. Alee and I will also be carrying around purple grapes and Patrick will be smoking the Cuban he got a few weeks ago.
that's about it. I must hit the sheets for now.
