Busy Busy Busy.
Been at my sister's for a bit. We had some mass preparations to do for my Brother-in-Law's cake, and other things, and OMG MEDICAL EMERGENCIES EVERYWHERE.
Not for me though, although I did have a Dr.'s Appointment yesterday, and I've gained 5 pounds bleeeehhh... I know, being pregnant, weight gain is inevitable, but, I gained 5 pounds in two weeks. Mind you I hadn't gained any weight for over a month, but just having it go up that much in that short a period of time. Sucks. My doctor was like, doing a bit of indulging eh? And I was like, uh, no, EH, I've been eating the same way I have been my entire pregnancy. Not looking forward to my next visit, for then, it is an internal exam of terror. Oh dear GOD I hate internal exams. There's nothing more painful. Nothing. NOTHING.
In more amusing news, Mango has been dancing like a maniac. It's really odd to be able to watch your stomach shifting sides. But, I am 33 weeks now, so, that's to be expected. It's ooonnnnly going to get more noticable.
I get to go to Galiano two weeks from now, and I'm looking forward to it, while chanting the mantra "Please don't pop, Please don't pop" because my doctor is a little worried I might be further along than we think I am.
Waiting on finding out when my sister's toe is getting biopsied. Is that a word? I think it's a word, maybe the spelling is just wrong... She has a skin thing, that isn't normal, so they want to make sure she doesn't have the toe cancer.
Yesterday also during the intense prep for my broham in law's birthday I went to change my nephew's diaper and went, "Uhh, Erica, would you come have a look at this?" Because there was a strange lump on his sack. HOORAY. So my sister had to take him to the doctor and it turned out it was his ball. Yup. Just pokin' on out there. Apparently it's normal, but it didn't LOOK normal. He's good though. Scared the crap out of us, but he's good.
Then she got back and we made the cake... The cake... Well. It was an attempt. My sister told me using gum paste to mould characters out of was similar to using sculpting clay. So of course, I go, I CAN USE SCULPTING CLAY! LET ME DO IT! I AM ZEE TALENTED ARTISTE! What it actually turned out being like was NOT sculpting clay, and not easy to work with, and yeah. That dragon really wasn't as impressive as I intended him to be. SORRY SHENRON, YOU FAILZ.
At least it was effin' delicious. Seriously. OMG so good.
I've been putting off repainting my dresser, and I think I need to do that tomorrow morning. I sanded it and primed it weeks ago now, but, totally procrastinated on anything else. So yeah.
ALSO! Dungeons and Dragons should totally be happening this weekend. I am excited to work on my "Sembian" accent some more and pretty much be a moral-less rogue daughter of a merchant. Excitement! Also excited to see baby Betty and all of 'em.
I really wish boys would stop asking me out on dates. I'm getting real tired of having to say No 1092984877426596209883778497829 times. And they STILL don't get the point. Here's the point, I DON'T THINK YOU'D BE A GOOD FATHER FIGURE FOR THE BABY I'M GOING TO BE HAVING IN A MONTH - MONTH AND A HALF.
Got it?
Good. Now, fack off. There are plenty of other women out there who WANT dates. I'm just most certainly not one of them. Go give them what they want and stop harassing me.
Know what I'm not excited for? Wearing jeans to my meeting with my worker in an hour.
Oi.
