A an old friend of mine is concerned about her 30 year old granddaughter who has bachelor's and master's in engineering, a great job with a European-based company where she's on a fast track, her own home, a great network of friends, and no husband or fiance. She can't wrap her head around the notion that her granddaughter isn't looking. She's long widowed herself and has turned down marriage proposals. But somehow she thinks young women should have husbands.
