I try not to criticise. One of my neighbors was going on again about prices. Her family is two elderly and one disabled young adult child in one apartment. She had asked if subsidized housing was an option and the property manager told her what documents were needed and could assist. She was offended that to get rental help they needec to provide info on income and assets. (They decided not to apply). But they constantly go out to eat, get takeout coffees, takeout food, takeout fountain soft drinks. Realy. If you can't cook, there are microwaves, frozen dinners, canned soups, you could even buy a fancy coffee maker for what you're spending, one that has a foamer and other accessories. I don't know. Once in a while the wife and the adult child assemble... sandwiches. There is a great air of difficulty around this. Apparently sandwiches and chips are a totally inadequate meal, which millions of people eat daily, and millions more would be happy to eat.. I'm sorry. The world is full of people who would LOVE to have sliced ham and turkey and cheese and bread and butter and mayo and mustard lettuce and tomato and onions available. And CHIPS too? And bottled fizzy soda or lemonade?
