You're probably wondering how I found you, considering we've never spoken before, and explaining is gonna make me sound like a total loon, but I'm gonna give it the ol' college try, regardless. XD Bare with me, here, it's 1:14am and I tend to ramble in the early hours.
Okay, so I was commenting to be friends with another user, kiralikescake, right? Anyway, I noticed your comment (because of the L icon ♥) and you said something about needing DN fan friends. I clicked your name kinda in a sort of 'harhar, I'll be your friend' way, but then I looked through your info and saw that you also read shoebox_project. So, considering you're a fan of both my current obsessions, I was wondering if you'd friend me? >.>; Of course, I come off as a little crazy, but I don't bite anymore.

You're totally friended-ed though. DN and Shoebox fans for the win. I still only know three people in real life who read DN (and they aren't even past the whole L-spoiler), and then kiralikescake on LJ. I have to say though, I'm tragically behind with Shoebox. Someday, someday I'll catch up, but you'll have to bear with me until then. ^^;
Yeah, I only have about three friends in real life that like Death Note, one of which introduced me, and the others I introduced. I introduced a few other people, but they stopped reading it, saying it got 'boring' =O!! I haven't read to the L-spoiler, yet, but I found it out anyway (sorta hard to avoid...other than that, I kinda guessed.) So I don't know any details, but I'm dreading reading the seventh volume. T__T;
Yeah, I was way behind when I started reading it, too, but the friend who introduced me to it would NOT let me rest until I finished it. XDD But it's been about six months since an update, so I think you've got some time. XDD
Haha, I harassed my friends until they read it, and I'm going to continue until they finish the damned thing. They'd probably be more inclined to read it if it weren't for my random bouts of "Et tu, Death Note? T.T" Granted, I only really finished it last night >>; I sorta knew the end, but I just couldn't bring myself to read the last ten chapters.
It's weird though, the L-thing doesn't even seem to be considered a spoiler anymore. How unfair to newer readers, they get the chance to brace themselves! I caught up to that just as it went on that 7 week(?) hiatus... Oh, the pain. I couldn't give it another go for months. Mello, Matt, and Near totally make reading on worth it though.
My friend that introduced me to Shoebox was the same way. Then she realized the extent of my powers of procrastination and gave up XD *is such a hypocrite when it comes to fandom*.
